L’assegno terzo figlio è un aiuto concesso dai comuni ma erogato dal Inps per le famiglie composte da almeno tre figli minorenni. Quest’assegno aspetta ai residenti italiani che hanno nel nucleo famigliare almeno un genitore e tre figli minori di 18 anni. I requisiti che servono per ottenerlo sono:
- un ISEE (ottenibile presso il CAF) non superiore a 8.788,99 euro
- avere familiari residenti, composti da cittadini italiani e dell’Unione europea
- avere familiari composti da cittadini di paesi terzi che siano soggiornanti di lungo periodo
- essere cittadini stranieri titolari dello status di rifugiato e di protezione sussidiaria
- essere cittadini extracomunitari con un permesso di soggiorno di lungo periodo.
L’importo erogato è pari a 145,50 euro ogni mese per 13 mensilità.
COME, DOVE E QUANDO PRESENTARE LA DOMANDA
Per presentare la domanda è necessario che ci si rechi in comune, chiedere l’apposito modulo da compilare poi allegarci la fotocopia della carta d’identità e il permesso di soggiorno dei/del genitori/e. La domanda deve essere presentata ogni anno entro il 31 gennaio del anno successivo (ad esempio l’assegno per il 2020 va richiesto entro il 31 gennaio 2021) . Le date d’erogazione variano da famiglia a famiglia non c’è una data precisa in cui si erogano gli importi a tutte le famiglie.
Per le famiglie numerose esiste anche l’assegno terzo figlio-bonus famiglie numerose ed è sempre erogato dal Inps e concesso dal comune. Nel caso in cui si dovesse fare questa domanda con l’eventuale accettazione da parte del Inps, verrà inviato al domicilio del richiedente una comunicazione in cui si fa presente l’accettazione e la somma che verrà accreditata sul conto corrente postale o bancario del richiedente.

THIRD CHILD ALLOWANCE
The third child allowance is an aid granted by the municipalities but paid by the INPS for families of at least three minor children. This allowance is intended for Italian residents with at least one parent and three children under the age of 18. The requirements to obtain it are:
• an ISEE (obtainable from CAF) not exceeding 8,788,99 EURO
• have resident family members, made up of Italian and European Union nationals
• have family members made up of third-country nationals who are long-term residents
• be foreign nationals with refugee and subsidiary protection status
• be non-EU citizens with a long-term residence permit.
The amount paid out is 145.50 EURO per month for 13 months.
HOW, WHERE AND WHEN TO APPLY
In order to submit the application it is necessary to go to the municipality, ask for the appropriate form to be completed then attach the photocopy of the identity card and the residence permit of the parents/s. The application must be submitted each year by 31 January of the following year (for example, the allowance for 2020 must be requested by 31 January 2021). Payment dates vary from household to household and there is no precise date on which amounts are paid to all households.
For large families there is also the third child-bonus allowance for large families and is always paid by the INPS and granted by the municipality. In the event that you ask this allowance with the possible acceptance by the Inps,,you will recive to the home address a notice in which you note the acceptance and the amount that will be credited to the bank or postal account of the applicant.
